Cremation Options
Cremation provides an alternative to traditional funeral services yet still allows the option of visitation and funeral services should they be selected. Options for the ashes from the human remains include burial in the family plot, placement in an urn to be kept at home, or placed in a columbarium niche or other location.
Traditional: Visitation/ Cremation
* Transfer of Remains from place of death to funeral home
* Embalming and sanitary care
* Cosmetology
* Administrative staff, professional staff for coordinating and personalizing
* Funeral Director
* Securing and filing necessary paper work
* Use of facilities for visitation
* Use of facilities for funeral service
* Selecting casket and urn
* Livery equipment: Hearse, Limousine, Flower Car
* Coordinating funeral mass with church or other location
* Selecting Prayer Cards
* Coordinating with Crematory
Direct Cremation – remains cremated and returned.
No services which includes:
*Transfer of remains to funeral home
* Funeral Director
* Securing and filing necessary paper work
* Transportation to crematory
* Alternative container
Direct Cremation with Memorial Service
(same as above) except
*Memorial service is schedules at a later time with cremated remains.
*Memorial service can be held at funeral home, church, graveside, or columbarium niche.
